In this example, I typed in "best dog breeds" and started to check the performance of the realted videos popping up by playing with the filters.

A good rule of thumb could be simply get inspired by the video you see in your feed.

When choosing a niche, it's crucial not to overthink the decision and instead opt for something you genuinely enjoy or have familiarity with.

Once you've determined your niche, it's time to set up your YouTube channel. Start with branding, which involves choosing a channel name, designing a channel logo, and creating a banner. You can generate channel name ideas using AI tools like ChatGPT and instantly check on Youtube if the name suggested is available. Additionally, ensure that your chosen channel name is unique and doesn't infringe upon any existing copyrights.

For designing your channel logo and banner, Canva is a beginner-friendly tool with a wide range of free pre-built templates to choose from. Once you've completed the branding elements, you can proceed to create your YouTube channel. Creating a channel on YouTube is straightforward and requires a Gmail account, which can be created for free. Simply click on your profile picture on the top right corner, then click on "Create a Channel" or "Add Account" on YouTube, enter your channel name, optional username, and with a few clicks, your YouTube channel will be created.

Once your channel is live, you can spend a bit more time perfecting the logo and the banner; if you are just starting, I would recommend you to find a name, create logo and thumbnail in less than one hour for FREE and, later on, when you will have more time, you can re-design your logo from scratch thanks to AI tech like Midjourney.

To maximize the visibility and reach of your YouTube channel, optimization is key. Start by customizing your channel's appearance by adding your profile picture, banner, and video watermark. The video watermark is an icon that appears at the bottom of your videos. Next, navigate to the settings section, access the channel features, and verify your phone number.
